I want a mass effect variant of Xcom so bad. More than Andromeda. Tactical squad battles throughout the ME universe world be so awesome. The human and alien partnership of teams would add an interesting dynamic to the Xcom formula.

I kind of like that the port cycle is reversing in this case. Developed for more difficult hardware first and then optimized for consoles second. Everyone gets a great experience based on what their tech can handle without any game versions gimped because of another.

The design allowing such intricacy and so many options was great. The story was consistently predictable and mundane. The results while plentiful were generally flat and unremarkable. At least in the main game.

You have to steal it before you kill them. The companion logic was too binary. A lot of fallout 4 was too binary.

I think the writing was good. Better than FO3 and Skyrim. I wasn’t all that impressed with NVs story. I find FO4s comparable. They all have a lot to learn from Witcher 3 however.

I generally found it annoying but just stopped bringing judgemental companions with me.
