I worked with him on an indie movie, and I really think he could be a decent action star in the Tom Cruise mode, but only if he stops picking projects like this. He's got chops, within his range, much like Cruise.

That's fair. We all kind of assume he is because of his generally likable demeanor, but he has yet to weigh in politically on anything, AFAIK.

Its totally happening.

I know you're joking, but if you really hate Trump that much, its probably because you have some real beliefs you're supporting: equal rights, affordable health care, environmental protection, a basic acceptance that science works.

With a reported budget of $40 million, it'd be hard for it not too.

There's a couple of good gags. The bit about the girl always running in slow-motion is in the vein that could have made the movie entertaining if they'd tapped into it. But it sounds like they didn't.

Maybe I haven't gotten there yet, but so far… hardly.

I'd be surprised if you were old for the AVClub, frankly. I think the older skewing demographic is probably part of what makes our commentariat one of the more congenial ones on the net.

Well, I didn't have any expectations of the film being good, but it wouldn't have surprised me if it had been enjoyable either.

Because liberals seem bound and determined to follow in all the stupid footsteps of conservatives?

Saved by the Bell actually had some redeeming values, I think. Every now and then it got some ambition, even if that was usually filtered through the most sappy sitcom lens you could imagine.

If you're not going to go to a pizza place that deals in actual food, Little Caesars is the best deal you're going to get. Its the best deal and its definitely the most edible.

I'm sure you can find someone to take a short sale on Bitcoin if you look hard enough. Vegas, if nothing else.

Which is kind of both the allure and the big drawback of Bitcoin, as I understand it. The whole idea of it is to create a currency that is based on the collective faith of the users, but it doesn't have any actual power behind it the way a yen or dollar does.

You can always skip songs, but only a certain number per hour. The pay tier gives you more skips and no ads.

They got a day pass. Anyone can get a day pass if they ask for one.

I think you're being a little guilty of that yourself here too. Much as it pains me to agree with Thundercant, neither McCarthy's joke (and it clearly is one) nor Trump's press conference is any proof of actual direct collusion between Trump and Russia.

Careful— Trump did welcome any information that came his way in a press conference, but there's no public evidence that the hacking was done at Trump's behest. Frankly, I think that gives him more credit as a strategist than he (or anyone in his merry band of idiots) deserves.

Try this— try starting from a neutral position instead of from one behind the bulwarks of "defend Trump."

What about these leaks aren't credible? We've already seen multiple Trump associates have Russian links proven (Flynn, Manafort).
