I hope this gets people to check out the original Django film.
Ugh! Major design fail on Apple's part. When I was working a long shift and had my Macbook running straight I used to put bottle caps under it to keep it cool.
So The Pinball Arcade's kickstarter is heading towards its goal ahead of time and they're already now promising the Star Trek: TNG pinball table if they double their goal.
Never buy what you already have for free. That said, I get your point. Personally I find a Sharpie marker (and maybe some masking tape) is enough to tell the difference between leftover tomato sauce and cottage cheese.
I said this over on another Gawker site and got flamed for it but I totally agree: comic books take themselves WAY too seriously these days. It's almost as if people writing them think they are the Homers of their time or something. What comics of today do is give fan-service and pseudo-intellectualism to their…
Exactly! For this reason, I would like to see a future Godzilla movie set as a "period" movie in perhaps the 60s or something.
So The Pinball Arcade had to take to Kickstarter to hopefully get the Twilight Zone licenses (they're at $31K of the $55K needed) and they stated if that exceeds its goal Star Trek: TNG would be the next table they went for.
The reason religion factors into marriages is that for many, marriage is a religious institution. Personally, as a Christian, I feel that my state marriage certificate was downright erroneous while the one granted to us by my wife's church (as well as the pledge we made to God) was the one that really mattered.
Two consenting adults with the definition set by government. The question comes down to where does the government have the right to define a contract.
It's much more accurate and relevant to compare gay marriage to cousin or sibling marriage as essentially marriage (in the state sense, not the religious sense) is a contract between two consenting adults. Using the animal analogy is off as animals are, well, animals and thus incapable of reason and thought (they are…
Linux is Easy. Ubuntu/Gnome3 just seems hell bent on making it hard again. ;)
Put some felt behind the bottoms?
I take the example of Franklin from Peanuts. Charles Schulz wasn't "making a statement" when he drew a black character into the strip. No fanfare, no hoopla (and this was 1968.) Charlie Brown just met a new friend when his beach ball got away from him on the beach.
They were mine from the 80s. Carl Barks's Donald Duck and Uncle Scrooge are the ones I'm enjoying the most.
You know, I don't get why everything suddenly has to have a gay character in it. Is it ratings/sales desperation? Is it to seem edgy or up to date or still relevant? Either way, it always comes across as a cheap publicity stunt.
This is a fantastic idea. Unfortunately (or fortunately) my wife and I inherited her grandmother's Revereware pans from the 50s and this wouldn't work. I think we may just try a vertical storage method first.
The Incredibles is an awesome film but I don't think it's based on a comic book.
The current crop of Superhero movies are all pretty much just fap material for CGI enthusiasts. On the bright side, they give the fine folks at Rifftrax plenty of material to work with.
My wife and I buy the Sunday paper for the coupons and flyers and recycle the propaganda. We always come out far ahead of the game so it works for us.
