Yet another reason not to carry a balance on your credit card! It annoys me that politicians seem to think that banks will operate as non-profits if they regulate them more and more. I think the situation was BETTER before the Anti-Bank law was passed. I'd go back to the old days of great CC rewards points for

The save-state was apparently pulled out of Natty Narwahl. I've not fully upgraded to 11.04 so I didn't notice its disappearance.

The performance upgrades were there in Snow Leopard, at least for me. I had been considering getting a new PC but upgraded my HDD and upgraded to Snow Leopard at the same time (thanks LH for reminding us that Mac Upgrade discs are exactly the same as full install discs)

because it's not common. Look at our government. Supposedly the smartest people in the world can't grasp this simple concept.

Make 'em pay for that themselves. That's what my parents did.

So in other words the features in Ubuntu for years? Trollface.jpg

@Nightshift Nurse: Indeed. While the Famicom looked like a toy with its red and white (supposedly Nintendo got those colors cheap leading to its now famous color scheme) most people outside of Japan remember the classic gray toaster.

It's a large plastic bag that fits the loaf. Most plastic food bags are too narrow or too short to fit the whole loaf. Supposedly it absorbs the gas given off by the bread but I am convinced that is hokum. I also use the bags from when we buy hot dog or hamburger rolls. Those work great and are "free." Of course, one

Unless you're allergic to Pennicillin it shouldn't be that much of a problem if you just rip it off and continue going on. For mold that bad, you throw the entire bag of bread out.

@Thorax: No I think you're pretty accurate in that. Crooked and bad teeth usually come from bad nutrition when you're young.

With all that money he's saving he can get a damn haircut! Stupid kids and their long hair and their pierced lips and their Starbucks addictions ...

I didn't say VJ2 and Red Hot Rumble weren't on the Gamecube. I stated that in the days of the Gamecube, we GCN gamers had a lot of disappointments, much like my experience with the Dreamcast.

@Fernando Jorge: With the gamecube if the game went Multi-plat it meant that in many cases the eventual sequel(s) would skip the purple box. I had to wait years to play Godzilla: Save the Earth.

I like my matches of the non-union variety.

I'm actually going to buck the trend here and say that a grill is 100% unnecessary. They are wonderful, especially in the summer for keeping your house cool, but you can in most cases cook a great piece of meat year 'round in your oven. So if you don't have a grill, fret not. You can have a great steak with nothing

I have a friend who owns a cattle farm. I have no problem eating beef.

For those who don't know, that's called brining. You could even use something like chicken broth (the full salt kind) to infuse more chickeny goodness in it.

Actually until I moved out of my parents' house last year in with my fiancee, I had a Model 500 hooked up for daily use. They still work in many areas. The great thing is that the Model 500s are darn near indestructable and will work just fine as a telephone. The one thing I mourn the most about being cell phone only

I like my gasmask bag I got from the Army Surplus store. Seriously, you can carry anything in that. Ammo cases work well too.

Yeah as did I. I just don't want to eat the hulls in the morning. My grandmother assures me it's delicious but I don't think I'll try it. Then again, I have had popcorn and ice cream together ...
