I love how these articles always make it sound like the store is out to rape you or something.
@IrishSJ: Wow! That sucks. I was going to buy one of those. :-(
First off, I don't appreciate being referred to by a homoerotic sexual act and secondly have you seen the waiting lists in Canada and the Uk? Socialism doesn't work. If such a system was feasible it wouldn't have to be mandatory.
This is less a game and more of a "When it rains it pours" scenario. I was poor when I was younger. My dad was out of work and was/is still partially disabled and he had no health insurance. He and my mom worked two jobs each and then when the kids were old enough to contribute we were expected to pitch in.
@Method320: I avoid Giz but uk.gizmodo.com is still working with the old layout.
@OMG! British Dinosaur!: It's a wonder he invited Steve. He seems to hate any and all Jobs.
The primary annoyance of Linux is that while I'm fine with the command line most of the time, sometimes I wish there was a GUI for everything. We're getting to that point but otherwise I'm 100% cool with Ubuntu as my primary OS.
@Matthew Gregg: You could go Hackintosh or just work with Linux and save on the Apple tax.
My fiancee and I do this too. Breakfast for dinner is nice too. :D
American cheese is bland, nasty stuff but I'm not much of a food snob to turn down Campbell's. It might also be that poor kid side of me that sneaks through where cheap items are still a treat even when I can afford much "better" food.
Yes to Wind Waker Link! I would totes buy a Wind Waker port/remake/sequel on the 3DS!
My parents had five kids and both worked. We had some hard times but one thing they would do that was cheap and easy was to open about 2-3 cans of Tomato soup and then make about 10 grilled cheese sandwiches at once in the oven under the broiler. Fast and easy dinner.
@gigawings: I have no son
Particularly rare ones do. Try hunting down a copy of Radiant Silvergun for example.
Enjoy your goiter.
Yeah another reason I hate the nanny state forcing kids into school younger and younger.
@Aikage The Skilled Furby: I wasn't allowed to play with Nerf guns. Too violent ya know. :-/
My fiancee and I have talked about how we will raise the proverbial kids that may or may not be in our future. One thing we both agreed on was to limit the licensed toys and instead get them creative play items or at least ones that aren't tied to a pre-existing character.
@Jnas: How about laserdiscs instead?
