“Certainly not Benedict Cumberbatch!”

[SPOILERS, SERIOUSLY]

After Geralt gets his shit thoroughly rocked at the end of Time of Contempt, which this season is adapting, he ends up recovering with the Dryads for a good long while, and emerges into the rest of the story a (somewhat) changed man. I assume the team’s just decided to literalize that

However, decades later, when a much longer cut was released, opinions about the film changed, with some critics even lionizing Heaven’s Gate as a masterpiece.

It’s only an anime if it’s from the Anime region of Japan, otherwise it’s just sparkling cartoon.

To me, the weird bit has been seeing commenters everywhere insist that a larger actor could not and has never existed. Darlene Cates was in What’s Eating Gilbert Grape at her real size in 1993, and she gave a stellar performance - she was discovered on an episode of Sally Jessy Raphael titled “Too Heavy to Leave Their

It’s just really weird. Fraser has been obese. The writer has been heavy, we don’t know how heavy but I’m guessing a lot worse than merely “overweight”. Aronofsky isn’t either but I don’t think, as a fat person, that being fat is hard to comprehend, and I don’t think “fat-positive” stuff is helpful when it’s about

The weirdest part about this is that commenters (and most of the internet) has been incredibly vocal about how unrealistic and difficult it would be for a 600-pound person to be an actor in this role... But the writers of some of these articles don’t even acknowledge that point. Pretty much every time someone says:

As an actual fat guy (300lbs at 6'2"), I feel like Rich sneering at “non-fat” people making a movie, when he himself is, if the internet is truthful, muscular and ripped as fuck (I’m impressed), is frankly a bit fucked up. Brendan was for many years a hell of a lot heavier than Rich is suggesting. He was obese even!

Did no one think, “Maybe a movie about a fat guy made by non-fat people needs to do a little bit more than describe fatness as prescription for misery?

Self indulgent? Yes. Lazy? No. Song and dance, no matter the quality of the end result, takes so much work its a wonder any musicals get made ever.

Or a moment of clarity for an artist that understands this isn’t the medium for his best creative work.

I kinda figured it was going to be her when reports were her absence was holding up shooting. You don’t hold up shooting for a character that can be easily written around or out...which suggested Shuri was the center of the film.

My understanding is that the next special will be a three-parter. While we’ve seen set photos for Tennant (as well as the regeneration), wouldn’t it be something absolutely fantastic for each of the new who doctors to get a “finish the unfinished business” episode? 10 has to take care of the Donna situation, 9 has to

Clown without Pity should be higher purely for the Homer line “Marge, the dolls trying to kill me and the toaster’s been laughing at me”.

I just think it’s beneath all of us. It’s beneath you. It’s certainly beneath your publication.” is giving me real “So you agree. You think you’re really pretty” vibes, just proving that Corden is nothing but a mean girl.

As someone who works on Broadway, has worked on this show and has friends who work on this show, this is a pretty bullshit take.

This is ridiculous. Beanie’s strength going in to Funny Girl was her comedic talent—thus the comedic illustration. Lea brings major vocal chops to the role—thus the focus on singing. As for the costumes, it makes sense that they would change a bit—lots of things about the production were tweaked in the revamp. I

Beanie Feldstein is “lead in her summer camp drama club” level talent when it comes to singing and acting.  She’s cute in her millennial coming of age movie roles and absolutely has an appealing personality.  She’s not a broadway leading lady - not because of her weight or height or hair color or teeth but because she

Having seen both Feldstein and Michele in this production these are all ridiculous reaches. Julie Benko, who was Feldstein’s understudy, wore the same costumes as her predecessor, including the sleeves, and she’s of a similar build as Michele. It’s no shock that a new star stepping into the production gets some new

It means you ARE out of touch. But that’s ok, you’re in good company. I’m in the same boat, and I’m awesome.
