I know, I know, it is beautiful, isn't it?

I’m not so sure Normal Things would be that interesting guys.
Putting an animal rights protester in a headlock while you have multiple hotdogs in your mouth is very impressive
Stranger Things probably should have been an anthology series from the start.
We’re endlessly going to whine ourselves to death with people not understanding what are causes and what are effects. Stop blaming the MCU for things. No one is being held at gunpoint to go see these films. If you have a problem with them, then your issue is with audiences choosing to go see them instead of different…
I would be 100% in for a Steve/Robin/Dustin spinoff.
I haven’t really liked going to the theater since I grew out of my teenage years. These days I only go to see new Marvel movies(and not to a theater with $15 tickets and recliners that you have to reserve online either) or to go to the drive-in, which is a far better experience than the theater ever was.
The main difference is that there’s very little room for the mid budget feature these days, and that’s where most new and interesting stuff comes from. (Hell, Star Wars was a mid budget picture, and so was ET.)
People will try to act like this is just natural, it’s what audiences want. But that of course ignores that studios (Disney especially) have become overly restrictive with theaters, not allowing any say in the amount of screens they can show their movies and for how long. Everything is crowded out, it’s all the new…
They could easily do the Rockstar thing and redefine the industry, redefine what it means to make a remake. They have the tools at their disposal. What they need is the corporate suit willing to sign the check to do so. And that’s the problem here.
If the Trilogy had been the old games built from the ground up in GTA…
Thank you for NOT making this a slide show!
The unfortunate truth is that people don’t want to pay north of $12 a ticket for that sort of thing anymore. There’s tons of ‘cinema’ (pretentious name for “movies I like”) out there, but you see it mostly streaming. That’s ok. There’s nothing magical about a massive screen, sticky floors, and talking movie goers that…
It’s clear Independency Day wasn’t on the list because as most of you might have missed with all the bad things they did over the last few weeks. The Supreme Court made it mandatory that every home watch it on the 4th of July. Don’t ask how or why, they just did. In the same ruling they also said it was not cruel…
Going in, there were 3 songs I thought he might play: Iron Maiden, Number of the Beast. Slayer, Raining Blood. Metallica, Master of Puppets. I’d have been thrilled with any of them, hearing MoP was pretty great.
The Peter Gunn Theme/Every Breath You Take mashup in S3 was great. Glad Tidings in S5 stuck that song in my head forever.
Sort of a different beat, but Scrubs used music exceptionally well.
“No disrespect to ST, but all it’s really done is integrate one song (Running Up That Hill) at a few effective moments.”
No disrespect to ST, but all it’s really done is integrate one song (Running Up That Hill) at a few effective moments. When It’s Cold I’d Like To Die was used pretty well too (bit of an anachronistic choice though, I think?) and the synth score is great. I wouldn’t personally say its use of music is particularly…
The Americans used music better.
