Oh, you’re doing the Tucker Carlson “I’m only asking questions” thing.

The many long and detailed replies you got from ElectricSheep, among others. They may not be the explanations you wanted, you may find the explanations unfulfilling, but that doesn’t mean they’re wrong or incomplete.

Asking a question is mansplaining now?

He's still going!

Mansplaining to a female attorney! You're a real ally!

You’re saying not instructing the lawyer on how you want your case handled is a bad act? “

Listen, you’re a woman lawyer and he’s recognitions, who is the be all end all of social discourse, manners and intent on the web. You’re just wrong, okay? ;)

They’re actors!! Being an attention seeker is kinda in the job description. Have you ever met an actor in person?? LoL. It doesn’t take much for them to rile up drama or try to perform for everyone.

Things can seem a lot of ways if you have no idea how they actually work.”

You are doing the Lord’s work. Continue the good fight.

Hey, as an active Latter-day Saint, thanks for at least trying to make the distinction between the “mainstream” Latter-day Saint group (not going by “Mormons” anymore) and the other communities within the Mormonism sphere. We’re in the middle of a kinda weird and esoteric branding shift (but don’t call it branding to

I’m a lawyer.

The only way to win against recognitions is to never engage him at all.

Not ungreying you since that is an incredibly stupid and lazy take. It demonstrates a significant lack of knowledge in the general legal process and blatant unwillingness to learn. A FIVE SECOND google search would have brought you to articles such as:

Her male ex did not humiliate her, the process server did. There is a very real difference. Details matter.

Clients generally have ZERO input or interest in how papers are served.  The fact that anything is being made of this at all to make Sudeikis look bad is pretty despicable.

I can’t imagine that anyone who read the book was expecting this could fully live up to it. Sounds like everyone involved gives it a good effort, though, and I’ll definitely be checking it out.

I don’t think clients have much input in how or when papers are served. Attorneys hire process servers to take care of that, and unless the person may be hard to locate or may be evading service, or the client otherwise has specific info on where they might be, they will not be very involved.  The process server is

Right? I’m hourly, baby. Play that trailer for me twice.

This is...not a good article. You can’t blame Jason Sudeikis for this. First of all, he would have had nothing to do with hiring a process server. Second of all, even the lawyer who hired the process server doesn’t tell the process server how to serve the papers, and even if she did, she has a responsibility to her

$25 an hour?! Shit, sign me up!
