According to early reviews, it doesn't have much of one, unfortunately. The music seems to be the best part which is annoying because I'm really looking forward to this.

I really want to see this movie and I want to see Wonder Woman a bit too but I don't want to see any other movie in this universe which is a tad annoying when they're all linked. I don't want to have to see Aquaman to enjoy any sequels these movies might bring.

I think that too but then I watch one and I just feel all warm and fluffy.

Does Jeff Goldblum read any audiobooks or something? I very much like hearing him talk.

What is my inherent bias exactly?

I do love the Branagh film, even though it falls down in some places the 1950 version stands up but meh, I'm a sucker for a fairytale and I don't need it to be a lesson in progression.

I definitely agree, my fear is that by trying so hard to be a feminist thinkpiece, it will shoot itself in the foot.

I think the lasso of truth will be very telling, excuse the pun. Comedy device or legitimate tool? If it's only used to get men to admit embarrassing crap about themselves in front of a woman, I'll be pissed. I don't want WW's main power to be 'Haha, look how silly men are!', I want her to be an actual hero.

I agree. I've seen the trailer and it looks…fine but again, not some feminist masterpiece. I am looking forward to it about as much as I'm not looking forward to Aquaman.

Wait until Suicide Squad comes out and Marvel needs their own Harley Quinn. It's coming.

It's a shame The Little Mermaid came out in 1989 because she was definitely the villain the 80's needed. I love her.

If Taylor Swift getting hoist with her own petard has taught us anything, it's that Beyonce should just win the damn awards in the first place.

I don't think that's right. I don't see how me saying I see the movie as a girl taking the initiative to get herself out of her miserable life and go on to do what she wants isn't talking about the resolution. I think we're talking about the same thing but we're not agreeing, which is fine; we really don't have to

I have an awful feeling this shall be "Sand Snakes: The Movie"

I guess I don't see it as being 'not the worst', but being as progressive as they're making out. I don't really know how to phrase it properly but the fact that they keep trying to make this a girl's story but are clearly still intent on marketing her in a way so guys will still want to see it (because movie studio

Her stepmother locking her up, her animal friends helping her get out, showing that she has the other slipper and escaping the hell she's trapped in to go meet the guy she likes? The prince is very much a non-entity for the rest of the story too, except at the very end when she marries him but the main ending of that

I mean, a male directed that film where Britney Spears is a girl who becomes a woman…

I still don't understand there being anything wrong with a woman wanting a night off and going to a party. 1950 Cinderella has absolutely no indication that she wants to go to the ball to meet the prince. She's essentially a slave who wants to get dressed up and go out for a night. It's not exactly a bad mark on

Parades herself around? She puts on a dress, goes to a ball and waltzes with a guy. I'm sorry, I can't take anyone saying a woman puts on a huge ball gown and goes to a ball as 'parades herself around' that seriously. She didn't put on a mini skirt and dance around a stripper pole at the local club.

That is strange but I don't trust DC and Warner Brothers to make it worthy of waiting so long for it, unfortunately.
