You have to understand that this judge has probably been on this case for many years. This judge knows every detail about this family’s life, and is probably sick and tired of the litigation. That does not at all excuse her behavior, but it’s not surprising for judges to get emotionally involved in cases and speak…

I have a friend who used to live on my street. Recently, she and her kids moved to a new apartment just up the road. Their landlord lives above them, and he is, it turns out, a bit nuts.

I’m a family law attorney, and my office has been up in arms about this all week.

Dafuq? That the “father” is allowing his children to be imprisoned is the only proof I need that he is not worthy of the name. I’ve heard of some really bad decisions being made by some really bad judges but this may be among the absolute worst.

If the five year (!) divorce battle hasn’t screwed these kids up for life, I’m sure being sent to a juvenile detention facility will secure their fates.
