@StupidSimple: What? what if you were going to buy a 42" HDTV anyways and getting up 4 hours early would ACTUALLY save you money.

Gmail has the best workflow and some of the best spam filtering I've ever used. There is no way I'd ever ditch my gmail inbox.

After having an iPhone for 2 years, I'm almost sick of the frill apps. The only apps I use anymore are Facebook, Twitter, Email and Safari. Every time I get bored I just open my phone open each app see if there's something new then lock the phone.

Daytime Kombat

I thought the other HDR video looked terrible, with glowing edges and people looking like plastic. This is perfectly shot video that you don't look at and immediately go "oh god that's HDR." The content should be the focus of good photography not the technique.

Daft Punk?

@Sam Biddle: software is software... the idea was revolutionary. I mean, the US Navy invented the internet and we don't have a movie full of drama about how some communications engineers thought it would be easier to have a network of computers instead of direct lines for tactical/stability reasons.

Watching a movie about web development drama is the last thing I want to see. I do this stuff ever day, and what was probably a real tense meeting about font will be dramatized to some street race with vespas. No thanks...

I've always loved watching Les's shows because of his approach. On survivorman he made decisions and tried things for the first time that real people would run into, and not just present survival techniques. Failures and successes is what made Survivorman was a great series.

If you look close, you can see the giant cotton wad they used to fire this from an air cannon instead of an actual gun. They probably couldn't afford a high speed camera to catch a bullet at actual speed.

I'm all for some kind of tag to say this photo has been re-touched. It can be classy and still let you know it's unnatural. I think that might make some celeb photos even more impresses when the photo-retouch watermark isn't on their image. That's something to strive for.

@Coreboy: I believe it was a font exploit that hacked the original xbox wide open. Why won't big companies learn to actually validate stuff like fonts.

Uhmmm... I think your website just got gizzed of its bandwidth.

That's why my new hard drive only lasted a few days...

They will let you run iPhone/iPad apps on your desktop. REVOLUTIONARY!!!

@Sigismond0: on your own linux distro you wrote using your own http server that's not apache correct?

@britishcoder: Lets just agree to hate each other and watch her porn later. k?

@britishcoder: I think frameworks are cutting edge for speed of programming and reliability. I'm a big supporter of RoR because of how quickly you can roll a website out.

@britishcoder: This argument can go on till the end of time really. I think the real point here is that we shouldn't be impressed with some one who can build a website and take their clothes off. I do this on a daily basis and I don't get this much attention.
