I really hoped this would live up. As someone who has battled anxiety and depression, the first movie spoke to me so well, and I would hope this could do justice to its wit and insight. From everything I heard so far, it has.

Just look at some of the IP in recent years that struggled as they hit the 30-40 year mark and hold little reverance to those who grew up with said properties, like Terminator, The Shining (Doctor Sleep), and Indiana Jones.

I think the nut to crack is, especially when it's already been rebooted, what do you do with the character and the property that hasn't been done already? You can't even make a F&F "go to space" joke cause it did that already too!

Yeah and it's a very tricky tone to boot to nail that Fallout essence. But wow, did it ever feel wonderfully Fallout while still being a great entertainment to my folks who didn't know what Fallout was beforehand

I love Paul Bettany as Vision. Just the perfect gravitas and demeanor to make the character pop. I'm in.
