Yeah, I forgot it exists, but it actually did a very quiet $100 million plus domestically. Considering Fall Guy was the big summer opener this year and probably won't even hit that, it could've been a hell of a lot worse for Nathan Drake
Just keep the soap opera intro
SUPERGREEN
Everything about Twister is a specific kind of 90s wonderful
The funny thing about Star Trek 09's success was that it only had domestic success; $257 million US but only $129 million internationally, which meant it only just got above the break-even line with its $140 million budget (using the golden 2.5x rule), and if you’re gonna spend that kind of money, you need to make…
Sorry, I only accept my Twister with Bill Paxton’s immaculate disdain on the phrase “corporate sponsors”
I still pretty much like the MCU output, it’s just A LOT, so I think scaling the output back is enough for me to feel re-energized about the brand, let me watch and take in stuff and get a breather without a new show or movie EVERY month. “Please don’t do this with a Cybertruck”
I’m hopeful. Fingers crossed.
SHADDAP!
DR ZAIUS DR ZAIUS....dammit, gonna be stuck in my head now
Oh man, that 1998 Zorro movie is fantastic!
Even the title alone got a chortle from me. Even Fast & Furious had more imagination than calling itself “Cardrivers”
“Have we grown weary of the delightful aspects of the Robin Hood legend? Is witty dialogue no longer permitted? Are Robin and Marion no longer allowed to engage in a spirited flirtation? Must their relationship seem like high-level sexual negotiations? How many people need to be covered in boiling oil for Robin Hood’s…
I think darkening up Robin Hood misses the whole point of the character, yet filmmakers (besides Mel Brooks) only want to seem to tackle the character if it’s a grimy bout of despair.
Loved him in Titanic, mainly in the scene where Captain Smith realizes there’s no one coming to Gondor’s aid in time
