Hey, he got on the poster!

Didn’t a ferris wheel get knocked off it’s hinges in one of the games?

I agree. I respect Bomb Rush Cyberfunk for the whole “we’ll just make our own JSR” idea but it didn’t take long for me to feel like it was so locked-in on copying JSR’s homework that it wound up not feeling like it had a soul or identity of its own.

It had a good alchemy of Twisted Metal 2 goofiness with Twisted Metal Black R-ratedness that against all odds, worked well enough.

Everyone wondering if they’ll still work on Activision IP, and Im here hoping TFB makes a sequel to their PS1 hidden gem (and box art hall of famer) The Unholy War

It’s basically like opening a restaurant now. Most of them are going to fail in that first year, but investors are going to blindly hope and invest that their product is the one that will break through.

Some might find this game familiar to Movie Grid, which started in 2023.

It’s definitely made a ton of strides on the console (if you have a fast enough connection). I wasn’t even super impressed with PS3 on PS4 streaming - a game like Split/Second would chunk and lag everywhere - but using PS5's streaming options so far, I could’ve been easily fooled I was playing locally, even with

Yep. I basically have about five current-gen games (plus a few indie and PS+ retro games) saved to the system at any time and the rest are cycled to my external drive for storage, which is an annoyance.

I’m doing my part!

“BRO BRO BRO BRO BRO BRO”

Surprised they didn't use Cage The Elephant for the trailer

Yeah Im only a few races in with the jalopy of choice, but I figure it was part of the design that I was finishing middle of the pack during this set-up business.

This is the first PS5 game Ive played via PSN+ streaming and I am really impressed by the snappiness of it. Not only does it look crisp and clear (unlike years past when I was trying to stream Split/Second on PSN where it constantly chug and drop in resolution), but felt negligible lag on the controls.

Yikes, this probably is the way forward at some point, isn’t it?

I’ll hang onto the memories of 2017-19 where I was playing it daily. Every decision made onto OW2 only fortifies I made the right decision to uninstall it.

Makes sense if they’re speedrunning the death of this game

EA mentioned that "higher profile players" will have additional NIL opportunities with them in terms of promoting the game, social advertising, etc.

With Avatar specifically, one of its joys is its constantly expressive faces that help give character beats and reactions even if they’re simply listening. It’s something perfectly natural in animation that live action rarely duplicates, and in its place are its flesh and blood actors in both the film and the show
