As with most mainstream voice over gigs, it’s a recognizable name who can hit all the late night shows and social to promote the film and hopefully hook people going into “I don’t know what Borderlands is, but I like Jack Black, so sure, I’ll see it”

Yeah, Last Action Hero was a little before its time, meta wasn’t a THING yet. Now I think people know what it’s about and love it for it.

I definitely didnt appreciate it as a kid cause I took it as a face value. Verhoeven taking a shit on the book’s politics and jingoism in general makes it seven shades of brilliant, I love it.

I would love to play HFR and I don't have an Xbox or play games on PC, so I absolutely would spring for it if it landed on PlayStation

This is a really neato mode and I’m glad to see it’s back. Even as a baseball devout, I learned some cool stuff with the mode and Bob Kendrick is an engaging narrator

I hope the controls are tightened up. The original MVDK was way too slippery in a non-Nintendo way and sometimes made precise timing an absolute pain.
