Yeah, I’m surprised at back-to-back MK games, esp. with Boon on the MK11 press rounds hinting that NRS was getting burned out on fighting games and wanted to possibly try a new genre entirely.

IIRC, the golden ending of MK11 did straight up reset everything to the point of feeling like a sequel hook, so this would completely scan.

Oh absolutely, I hope we get the Big Three’s new entries all this year. I can’t wait to work EVO this year, should be some fun reveals, etc.
