It’s weird to me when people go “*I* liked it, I’m baffled by everyone hating it!” cause usually if I like something that goes against majority opinion on a game, I can suss out *why* people wouldn't like it but understand why I'm into it (Sonic Shuffle is a good example).

The other gamble was that Iron Man was firmly a middle tier superhero in general pop culture, in that people had probably heard the name, but couldn’t name the alter ego or general gist of the character unless they were actually a fan.
