Still waiting on “Tank It”

This is why you keep an item on you to drag behind!

This is a guy who played a rich owner who wouldn’t spend money on his product in a movie, this all scans!

On the gameplay side, good on Avalanche Software still kicking. Not a whole lot of devs of that scope still kicking around from the 16-bit days — I remember them best for their MK3/UMK3 Genesis ports for Williams/Midway that were vastly superior to Probe’s ports of the first two games under Acclaim.

DONT COPY

AMC is really easy to make fun of....BUUUUUT goddamn, the A-List is a friggin steal, esp. since I live right near the Metreon in SF where they have a true-blue IMAX screen and an ass-rumbling Dolby auditorium, so it’s very much been worth my money!

“For those who hold the elite status of an AMC Stubs A-List member, the seating in the Preferred Sightline Section will have no extra cost.”

WATCH OUT, JAN, YOURE NEXT

A huge star feels like a reach BUT he is probably my favorite character actor who is great in everything and it was really cool to see him perform live.

Just FYI, it’s not a laugh track, the studio audience at SNL can see this sketch as it’s happening on monitors and react accordingly

It’s the production values that killed me (in a good way), because....

I regret that I have but one star to give.

I love the pat and “I’m sorry” to Darren McGavin when they lay the duck down

I didnt think much of the writing or performances, but since I’ve touched grass before, I’m not gonna send death threats to her or the devs or anything. Just gonna go “Hm, disappointing” then move to the next game. She’s got a good attitude about the whole thing.

I love the Chinese restaurant scene in A Christmas Story where it drops the pretense of shooting it straight and basically turning it into a contest of how hard they could break Dillon into laughter by not telling her what was going to unfold. Just watching her fits of hysterical laughter is a joy

Now I’m thinking of that gross scene in The Wrestler where Randy the Ram quits the job by jamming his finger into it out of defiance.

Although if I directed Home Alone 3 and Scooby-Doo, it would probably be in my best interests that no one remembers my directorial filmography

I absolutely loathe the 2002 movie for a myriad of reasons (as alluded to in the article, it’s an absolute hot mess of tonal battles between execs wanting wholesome Scooby-Doo and whatever James Gunn was trying to write), but absolutely zero fault lies with Linda Cardellini and Matthew Lillard, who were perfection as

Yeah, I think the “hm, I might not cast my entire viewing future on Netflix” shoe dropped when Santa Clarita Diet was cancelled after a hysterical season 3 ended on a doozy of a cliffhanger.
