It’s retired now, but the Batman Classic TV Series Batcave is a work of art. It includes the study of stately Wayne Manor, the Batpoles, the atomic pile, the Batmobile, the Batcopter, and all the features you’d want. It has almost every minifig it needs (no Batgirl), including the best villains.

I hated seeing The Good Place go, but I loved watching it leave.

I know, it’s a dead horse, and I’m beating it. But I hate that we, as a nerd community, have decided that Bill Finger should get credit for creating aspects of Batman that we all know and love, but we can’t wrap our heads around the idea that that relationship essentially existed with the 1989 Batman, with Tim Burton

Yeah, but that was before NBC was purchased by the Shineheart Wig Company.

“Hello, Nurse. I’m Adam West, star of the new Batman television show. A coworker of mine was brought in this afternoon. You might recognize him from his visit here yesterday. And the day before. May I visit him?”

Shame I couldn’t catch this post before all the hating/complaining/whining...

It’s so Tim Burton’s Batman Returns.

This was actually one of the cornerstones of Grant Morrison’s run on Batman. His assertion was that Gotham may be a dangerous place to live, but it’s also a seat of art, culture, and commerce. Yes, you have the risk of running afoul of one of the four-color gangs, but bohemian Gotham is EXCITING, and the actual risk

Daenerys is really gonna have Aegon her face when she finds out who she’s hooking up with tonight!

Good break down. Adam Savage himself is the perfect argument for why we need Star Trek because it is very easy to get bogged down in depressing current events and assume that progress is cyclical. In reality, the world has been getting better and better, a virtually unbroken upward trajectory since the dawn of time,

It’s almost like they stood on the shoulders of geniuses to accomplish something as fast as they could and before they even knew what they had they patented it, packaged it, slapped it on a t-shirt and now they’re selling it.
