I posted this in the other article you’re referring to, but compulsory voting like Australia would be a good idea. Hell they have BBQ’s near polling stations like voting is a f-ing block party. Legally they have to vote, but it really sounds like they enjoy voting.

My Hispanic in-laws live in Texas.  They are all huge Trump supporters.  It’s not just one thing they like about him too, it’s a lot of things they like about him.  It’s very weird to see them fight for someone who truly believes they don’t belong in the U.S.

Yep, that’s about my only satisfaction in voting where I live.  At least I’m cancelling out a republican vote.

Someone should tell these non-voters they get a participation sticker when they vote.  Maybe that'll motivate them?

I saw a small child wear one of these. I didn’t immediately think of the teens that tried to kill a girl either. It’s still a dumb costume because the poor kid could barely see, and it’s just a crappy looking costume in my opinion.

Agreed. If you’re making $125k a year, you are high up there. I don’t know many positions in very many industries that make that much unless you are a doctor, or your title includes Regional, President, VP or something along those lines.

Are they measuring the end of the month balance on your accounts?  Or do they average the month and then report it that way?  If I start out with $5k at the beginning of the month, and then end with less than $400 a month, then that would probably drag down a lot of people if they measure only the end of the month.

Jesus, I see a House of Cards scenario quickly becoming a reality. Delaying voting days and elections with further distrust because we’re to the point of worrying about getting bombed while standing in line to vote.
