as a prius driver in LA, if you’re not going 80, everybody thinks you’re holding them up. also, i still get over 50 mpg on avg so it doesn’t matter either way. 

A Prius, with it’s excellent aerodynamics, will get better fuel economy at 80mph than most other ICE vehicles. It is NOT defeating the purpose of gas mileage.

Not at all. This is more akin to a locomotive, than any hybrid on the market. The ICE engine does not directly power the wheels in any way. 

They’re selling, but Honda has cut production of them. My small local dealer had had 2 or 3 of the previous gen by this point in the production run, but they’ve only had one new Type R so far. 

The jobs near my house pay much less, and the homes near my work cost way more. Do you think people commute because they want to?

Slight tweak to andy’s response: This guy needs a charger. a 2014-2015 with the 5.7 will eat up the interstate getting 25 mpg, and those seats are absolute COUCHES.
