This is a nice price. It’s probably the real value of the car but this is a very clean example. it seems hard to find even a car on it’s last legs for under 5k so for 6500 for any car in good condition is a deal these days. especially if it’s a luxury cruiser.

I’ll rock the boat and say get a  gently used honda passport. give your pup some more room in the backseat. or you could even fit a crate in the back if you wish.

subaru sells yakima adapters but it makes the equipment even higher up.  so if you are vertically challenged it could be a pain. But i would probably carry a step stool with me anyways and it seems like an easy problem to solve.

it’s like a pleather/wetsuit material hybrid textile.

you did not drive yourself in this car. This was your hired driver’s problem.  Now the front passenger did not have to worry about a dumb stick taking up their luxury space.

yup. Ferrari does not follow logic they do the most nonsense things ever!

I believe stellantis could import DS cars to usa keep the front end the same and just put a chrysler badge on the trunk. hybrids are in huge demand right now in USA. Since DS cars are all hybrids having a brand that is all luxury hybrids i believe would sell like hotcakes.

Except trucks are no longer branded as “dodge” they are all “RAM” branded now.

I was thinking the same thing. putting detuned ferrari engines in the Maserati’s and let that brand be the “mass produced” brand that any rich guy that can afford it can buy would let the big F company increase production while keeping Ferrari “exclusive”

update: according to car and driver you can get the max tow package on a hybrid now.  Big if true...

where did it say you get 4k towing with the hybrid? the hybrid was always limited to 2k tow. you also only got 2k tow with the ecoboost unless you specificaly got the “max tow” package. ($1,000)

okay this is the obvious suggestion that your father in law will likely buy: Audi q5 PHEV. 184 inch length and will be the boring german luxury vehicle he is used to.

this car had at most 230 horsepower. most likely it had 184 horsepower.

cruise control can not be activated below 15 mph in VW vehicles. https://www.vw.com/en/iq-drive/travel-assist.html

can you name some of the cars?

don’t most cars have a minimum speed for cruise control to work? i know older cars did. I know electric vehicles have a LOT of torque down low but i thought cruise control limits the acceleration to a slow and steady acceleration. It shouldn’t take off like a rocket ship. But even if your car started accelerating with

how are drivers not responsible? they knew how the car operates and bought it anyway. if they can’t drive it maybe they should have bought a different car. every time a car crashes these days its always “oh the car crashed me I didn’t crash” “it was the smart features of the car the ai did it!”  People just don’t want

i don’t understand how cruise control activating could make you crash. as soon as you press the brake car slow down. are drivers asleep at the wheel?

Never seen a state trooper in a challenger yet here in Alabama. Also the nebraska picture the car looks photoshopped.

these are becoming popular in my area. I only see them at costco parking lot so I assume they drive them from very far away from lower alabama down to the coast or from mississippi.
