cruise control can not be activated below 15 mph in VW vehicles. https://www.vw.com/en/iq-drive/travel-assist.html

can you name some of the cars?

don’t most cars have a minimum speed for cruise control to work? i know older cars did. I know electric vehicles have a LOT of torque down low but i thought cruise control limits the acceleration to a slow and steady acceleration. It shouldn’t take off like a rocket ship. But even if your car started accelerating with

how are drivers not responsible? they knew how the car operates and bought it anyway. if they can’t drive it maybe they should have bought a different car. every time a car crashes these days its always “oh the car crashed me I didn’t crash” “it was the smart features of the car the ai did it!”  People just don’t want

i don’t understand how cruise control activating could make you crash. as soon as you press the brake car slow down. are drivers asleep at the wheel?

Never seen a state trooper in a challenger yet here in Alabama. Also the nebraska picture the car looks photoshopped.

these are becoming popular in my area. I only see them at costco parking lot so I assume they drive them from very far away from lower alabama down to the coast or from mississippi.

i’m not married to apple car play. I run Spotify and Google maps and that is basically it. If those apps run natively inside of the car’s screen that would be fine with me. The biggest issue the internet data, I don’t want to pay for a seperate phone plan for my car. and if i have to connect my car to my phone’s hot

yeah i don’t understand the hate for this generation ford focus. It was mid pack at worst in its class.

yeah if you nest the drums you can fit a whole kit in a clown car but if you want it easier to set up when you get to your destination it really depends on how many pieces and how wide/deep your drums are.

this assumes you have a garage. Not every house has a garage. I would need to dig a trench from my power meter and install a pedestal charger. Never got a quote but it would cost at least 1k in materials and labor would be a few thousand as well. it’s doable but with the huge extra cost for a EV or phev a normal

this is a really cool car but too much of a financial liability. the 3 cylinder engine is not reliable. Also you have old hybrid tech and hybrid batteries that will either fail or something will get Borked and need a lot of money thrown at it.

Drove a ford with the same shifter and had zero issues with it ever. Maybe i’m just smarter than a caveman?

the ecoboost does better than the non ecoboost. but I would not want one older than 10 years either way that’s for sure. Time is running out to drive one of these without it running your bank account dry.

2021 toyota highlander. Or a Subaru ascent.

The answer is it depends. If you are willing to take the heads off and break them down and out all the drums together like nesting dolls yes! If you want to keep them all together and use protective cases it depends on how many peices is in your set and how wide and deep your bass drum is. Also the bigger question is

The engine is trash and a huge liability. They have leaky gaskets, main seals. The time to buy a ford flex is long past. Not a wise used vehicle purchase

what upgrades would prevent hurricane damage?

Imagine paying all that money on a cruise ship just to have FOMO.

all this is going to do is increase the purchase price of the cars. everyone will rush to buy cars with their government subsidized 7,500 down payment and adjusted dealer markup will put a toyota corolla purchase price at $79,999. You would have to sign up for a lottery from the dealership just to have a “chance” of
