Boeing is “too big to fail” not officially..  This was a bailout not a plea deal. The feds went easy on Boeing...

this is kind of wholesome. Ferrari would probably give you a lawsuit / ban your for life if you posted on social media that your car broke down and goog guy greg Koenigsegg remaking your car!

yeah the “wierd times” of post covid cars appreciating/ barely depreciating encouraged people to not make rational financial decisions. So many people sold their cars to get new loans on a newer car when their old car was only 1-3 years old because of the strong value of their old car. but they took up so much debt

supposedly these satellites are designed to break up/ disintegrate on re entry but you never hear about satellites being decommissioned in the news only about new ones being deployed.

i know you will always pay higher prices for “convenience stores” but the prices have gotten outrageous. $3.80 for a gatorade. $2.50 for a candy bar. $4.00 for a small bag of chips. prices have gone from a 10-20ish percent increase over a grocery store to 50-100 percent more! When i was out of town there was a walmart

people think a FSD crash is a free meal ticket and they can sue for tons of money.

How does this kind of payday get approved by the board? Im guessing bribes? Im not an investor in tesla but hopefully the shareholders sue tesla and this brings tesla to it’s knees. How does the stock price not plummet? Who wants to own shares in a company that pays their ceo THAT well??

Hope you have a bike with electric start. having no ground to “kick” against to start a kick start bike midair does not sound fun.

sounds like gps lost sync. But the driver had plenty of time to cut power before it got that close to the beach.

it’s free to make a new email address and burner phones are surprisingly cheap.

High prices and high interest rates suck right now. Who is excited to spend a whole 25 grand and only get a base model civic out of it?

people just want an excuse to spend money on a luxury car.  “but i had to my commute was KILLING my car” as if these cars are designed to be driven.

oh yeah let’s buy an out of warranty toyota with metal shavings in the engine.

I agree keeping what you have is the better option financially. Will one of the cars need SOMETHING eventually ? probably! but it shouldn’t be too bad at all. i doubt the engine or trans will grenade, probably just regular maintenance suspension valve cover gaskets, brakes water pump timing belt ect.

Lexus es hybrid would be great!

as much as i love the lucid air the idea of owning one outside of warranty terrifies me. That is still my dream car but buying used at this stage of the companies life might not be the play. Especially if you have that long of a commute.

Some people just like the country life and don’t want to live in the city.

Can’t find anything better closer, or they like where they live and would rather not move or they can’t afford to move closer to work. Also it makes things more complicated when you have a spouse who needs to work. If your spouse likes their job and it’s close to where you live now moving would just make them suffer

these fishing tournaments are huge revenue generators for the local towns. If cheating is not properly policed (literally in this case) nobody will show up!

i did not know the Jaguar XF wagon was that rare there is one that parks at the suite nextdoor to my work every day. they’ve had it for at least 4 years.
