GTR is still badass supercar and you can drive it anywhere.

GM tried for for 9 years to convince people that a PHEV is what they need but the sales were never there. I think that killing the Volt was the right call to make at the time. But things can change quickly. I think GM could put the Volt recipe quickly in the Chevy trax and maybe that’s the reason why it is offered as…
investors pushed so hard for EVs to hit the market and it takes OVER 60 times the battery capacity to make one EV versus one hybrid car. It is nearly impossible to sell both EVs and hybrids. Toyota is letting Subaru build their EV and rebadging it while Toyota bet it all on hybrids and it was a risk at the time…
A lot of people move, many don’t i’m not on the up and up on the percentages/ratios. But spending 10k on electrical upgrades you are still not likely going to recoup all of that cost. And if you was planning on moving out why even bother??
This is a must watch for anyone who drives.
unfortunately automakers have almost zero interest in selling you a car that costs under $30,000. won’t be long before the cheapest new car is over 30,000. Prices seem to be going up by $800 every year.
until you can get a 90 percent charge in under 10 minutes gas will be the more convenient option for the majority of drivers.
Increased value of your home is only worth considering if you think you will ever sell your house. If you are planning on living there until you die then so what?
Ford kept increasing the price of the Lightning by multiple, multiple thousands of dollars every quarter. People were not willing to pay $70,000 for the exact same truck their neighbor paid $40,000 for. Also the winter range was abysmal. If ford had never changed the price and the cold weather perfomance of the…
If only Jalopnik had their own youtube reviews of these cars they would not need to hyperlink everyone elses youtube reviews. HUGE miss by go media lol.
Ford was also trying to produce the F150 lightning and I think they were expecting that to be a sales hit but the lightning turned into a sales disaster. At the time it was the right call to make consumers/media were expectantly foaming at the mouth for electric pickup truck but the customers never showed up. Perfect…
yeah i don’t get paying the markup for the hybrid you would never break even with the gas savings over the gas model even at 160k miles! Plus your slower and no all wheel drive and only 2k tow rating!!
you can pay msrp on the gas engine. it’s only hybrids that are marked up.
the Chevy trax and the Subaru crosstrek just leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I’m so ready for all of the dealerships to be burnt down. However these markups would not exist if idiots were not desperate/(rich?) enough to pay them. I do know that Crosstreks / Trailblazers and now traxes are starting to be purchased by…
at least with Volvos there is not the assumption that it is going to be made in the USA and the brand is owned by china anyway.
look at a 2011 accord and a 2011 camry ... the hyundai still looks WAY better by comparison!
this was originally meant to be a stop gap car to generate some more cash flow for chrysler and then the recession happened and they decided instead of clean sheet design a new charge let’s turn it into a whole new franchise and message the platform for 11 more years.
sure but you could finance a brand new accord for $189 a month back then ...
There should be a law to anonymize all of this data.
or just .. don’t shift once your in third you can do 90 percent of city driving. do your business and then upshift to 4th.
