that does not make sense nobody would design an app for a car like that. Either you have access to the car’s data or you don’t. Trying to subdivide data like that sounds like a nightmare especially since you do not have to use the app to drive the car tesla’s still have a keycard to drive the car without a phone.

yeah it’s like a “gotcha” later after you pay off your car or to generate revenue on the 2nd owners. 

GM can design and build great cars. But they cheap out on their suppliers and make them produce the parts for next to nothing so they can maximize their profits per car and the cars suffer for it.
