It is very bad practice to have a truck that where you add four wheel drive you lose 25 percent of your towing capacity. a few percentage points is understandable but having that drastic of a tow difference is going to cause a lot of warranty headache for ford.

Now playing

the toyota hybrid transmissions are a lot more intlligent and feel like less of rubber bandy than the gas only CVTs. they work entirely differently than any other CVTt.

That generation of Lincoln did not have a good / cohesive design language and then trying to turn whatever you would call that era Lincoln design into an suv just did not work either. it was clear that their designers did not have SUV’s in mind when they invented the waterfall grill and all the swoopy lines on the

The Purosangue’s existence is hilarious. The pressure came from Ferrari’s customers who wanted one it was not created to increase sales of the brand like the Porche Cayenne was.  So ferrari then trolls them by selling them an AWD hot hatch.

that’s what i figured they would do as well.

since the maverick is based on the escape i’m guessing the main reason they dont offer awd on the hybrid maverick is the towing would suck. only 1500lbs towing on a hybrid AWD escape.

i’m torn on this. touch capacitve buttons are not really worse than physical buttons. However on the steering wheel i would be concerned about accidental presses. Is there like a safety? do you tap to wake the steering wheel up?  Also the buttons is a good place for a lot of crud and nastyness to build up.  It’s not

Icon takes it to another level CNC machining completely new parts of the body/interior/chasis its functually a completely different or even a brand new car by the time he is done with it. Not saying that’s a bad thing  its just not the same at all as driving a classic car its like a modern car that will still kill you

Air suspension: especially slammed trucks and Duallys.

I think the terribleness of the 4 speed automatics made the manual transmissions seem like a blessing in comparison. The 6 speed auto in that era of Hyundai’s is truly a gem. My 2017 Elantra was the last year for the six speed auto before they went CVT and it was one of the main reasons I went with the Elantra over

I think people were expecting lotus to branch out into the hypercar stratosphere and not remain in .. well the lotus stratosphere.. Also i think people were expecting a more unique powertrain than a mercedes Minivan engine or a toyota Camry engine. But you don’t buy a lotus for the engine you buy it for the chassis

Their pool of candidtaes are people under the age of 30 who have either military experience or who live/are willing to relocate to oklahoma city. After complete your training you get a very small say in where you are stationed. You can say north east, south east, ect. but you may not get to pick the city or even state

I would be an air traffic controller tomorrow if i could. However the only way to get that job is to be trained by the military. ( or move to Oklahama City where the only civilian air traffic controller training center is located ) Also due to mandatory retirement age of 56 you can not apply to be an ATC over the age

did you read the article? Gm partnered with Google to build the infotainment. Even if “android auto” is not supported it will without a doubt integrate seamlessly with an android phone. People are saying right now “I will not buy a car unless it supports apple car play.” However imagine a hypothetical world where no

its funny because april fools.

these vehicles are still low production.  they will sell no matter what because rich people want to be seen in their silverado EV or Hummer EV. This change has not made it to their gas cars yet looks like gm is testing the waters on the low volume models first

I think GM has calculated this move and they know they will lose some people but they also know that people want to flex in thier silverado EV and hummer EVs and Cadillac lyriq’s bad enough they will put up with anything to be behind the wheel of one. These will be very limited production vehicles for the next few

Lol they did, they hired google to make it and google raked them over the coals. I don’t think GM at the time knew google would not put carplay on it but they signed some contract making google exclusive and it’s too late to back out now.

This sounds like to me GM partnered google design their hardware and infotainment software. Google agreed as long as they got to be exclusive ... and gm at the time did not know what exclusive meant and its too late to back out now. Google outplayed GM and now GM has to spin this as a positive somehow. I can see a lot

rented a v6 charger because my wifes car was in an accident. I hypermiled that car and got 23mpg.  There is no way a charger with stilts and a fat suite getting 20mpg with a hemi.
