he was not saying that it will be “as expensive” as a continental he was saying that people will sell their Bentley’s to buy a Genesis, which is not that far fetched of a claim.

the model y , Kia ev6 , and hyundai ioniq 5 are much smaller than the lexus rx. The lexus rx is probably closer in size to the tesla model x but that costs $122,000

Slammed dually on airbags. I love lowered trucks and driven duallys and genuinely one of the most fun I’ve had driving a truck. But i know between fuel prices, maintenance, all the expense of modifications this is a very expensive toy probably will never happen but a man can dream!

I get the jist of what you are saying but two months is not long enough ownership experience to vouch for any car’s reliability.

good point. I was averaging 30mpg driving my mom’s 2004 pontiac grand am. It’s like everyone makes up numbers to prove their point.

I think the tesla example was one of the early ones when the drive motor and battery had an “unlimited mile” warranty or something like that. they stopped doing that a long time ago.

yeah i think tesla offering “free superchargers” really made it hard for the early adopters to realize how much it really costs to fuel their cars. the new generation teslas having to pay for it is introducing a lot of sticker shock on charge bills and they add up fast.

well if you cherry pick one of the most fuel efficient electric cars and compare it’s efficiency against the “average” ICE car then of course it would do better.

yeah, when you consider you have to flip the car and avoid buying something else to avoid holding the bag when the battery goes boom, paying taxes on whatever you buy to replace it, depreciation, ect you are not saving any money with the EV.  Buying an ev right now is just for clout, green brownie points, and I guess

Not exactly fair to compare brand new EVs to old ICE cars. For a lexus rx sized EV vehicle you would be looking at a rivian r1s or comparable EV. EPA rates the r1s at 49kwh to go 100 miles. using 16.09 cents per KWH (just googled “average price per kwh usa” in the googles you get 7.88 dollars for 100 miles. The most

I was kind of upset the way Microsoft just “pulled the plug” on the last version of forza motorsport. Makes me not want to pay for the game going forward.

I would say the legacy looks “below average”

my fav honda fit colors was the yellow and the purple.

ive just had too many blue cars I’m not into it anymore. I need a blue break. I want a yellow car but very few cars available in yellow now and historically.

you mean $18,000 Mitsubishi POS...

probably because the customer’s aren’t buying them. But most likely its the “committee” doesnt think they would.

a lot of 3 row vehicles the middle row has two captain chairs so if you just have two kids and want to haul anyone besides two parental units and your two kids you need the third row to haul members outside of your own natural brood.

i’m sure it will be a great engine platform GM has a great track record for their v8 engines .... it’s just the first time they will launch an all new v8 without a performance car to be excited about driving with it.

yeah I’m convinced the way a lot of things are designed in assinine ways is the job stability that comes from being the only person that can fix it.....

I’m glad cars are preserved so younger people like me can experience what these cars looked/felt/smelt like when new. But sad that classic cars have become these investment objects that has priced out younger enthusiasts from getting involved in the hobby.
