I hope they will one day

Also tesla had to raise prices because scalpers were ordering cars and flipping them. There is a tesla model 3 in my town at a local honda dealership that has 10k miles and automation is asking for 10k over the tesla msrp. Im sure its already sold because people wealthy enough to afford a tesla would rather pay the

Dealerships are now these giant entities that if supply is low enough the giant conglomerate dealerships like autonation and carmax will just buy the new cars and resell them at inflated scalper prices.

I would love to see an actual racing series for cars like this.

that and it was just a worse subaru outback. the only redeeming factor is you could get the turbo engine with a manual if you wanted.

I mean, I get it. Car factories don’t grow on trees and it won’t be long before GM will not be able to justify a factory exclusively for their lowest selling model. This will be just like Porsche’s introduction of the Ceyenne. You can’t hate on the Ceyenne because without Ceyenne porsche would have literally gone

I don’t hate it but why not give it the hybrid drivetrain from the malibu?

the real question: is an electric vehicle with a lifespan of only 5-7 years really “worth” the same amount of money as a gas car that will last for decades?

the battery is thousands of cells. it only takes a few individual failed cells to kill a battery outright. If manufacturers refuse to service the individual cells (tesla wont service the battery only replace) that is how EV batteries are being bricked.

if toyota dealerships are doing this that means every other dealership is doing this too. You would have to find a car that nobody wants to pay at or below MSRP right now. Manufacturer’s have zero teeth to enforce prices dealerships pay in most states. there are actual laws against this. The only thing Manufacturers

Toyotas last forever and they are on a 6-7 year life cycle. (or longer) The resale price is through the roof. If you can afford it there is zero reason to lease instead of buy a Toyota vehicle. If Toyota wants to increase lease rates they will need to start updating and refreshing their lineup sooner, lower prices,

yeah and the batteries will only last 8 years before they are junk. so soon after you pay off your electric car it will be time to buy a new one immediately after, unless you want to be holding the bag on a $20,000 battery replacement.

Pontiac firebird. It has everything, pop up headlights, ls engine. t tops.

I can’t tell if it’s a good thing or a bad thing. The company i work for has a few sprinters for fiber splicing and they go off road with them frequently. I would like to see a side by side test of the new model vs old model. The convenience of a van in off road format is awesome but i guess it’s so niche that there

Obama appointed a “Car Czar” Steve Rattner to navigate the GM and Chrysler bankruptcies. It was his administration that dictated ALL of the rules. The executive branch is composed of many people but the president ultimately accepts responsibility for all of the decisions.

This is true that pontiac rarely made a profit in their own rite but Pontiac’s customer retention was extremely high. my mom bought three pontiacs starting  1988. When pontiac went away she bought a volkswagen and then a honda. She hasn’t stepped foot in a GM dealer.

They did not kill Pontiac or Saturn the Obama administration did. they were forced keep only 4 brands during bankruptcy restructuring. They knew killing pontiac was a bad idea and fought very hard to keep it but Obama would not budge.

this might be the new one?

Volkswagen: we don’t want to make too much money.

My dream car is a prius with the rav4 prime drivetrain. the new prius is 75 percent there. Hopeing that toyota releases a prius prime that has the rav4 prime drivetrain or is full EV.
