fucking exactly man!

only because people dont stop looking at their phones to cross the street. .

It’s not the Jury’s fault. Sounds’ like the laws of ip infringement are too complicated to understand and need to be re written in such a way that anyone can understand them. If its a law that only lawyers understand then it is a BAD law.

Finally found one of those chairs to try for the first time and believe the hype those chairs are fantastic. Funny enough our company has a few sitting in storage about an hour away from the office that’s how I got to try one I wasn’t allowed to take it with me not even to use for work. So this fantastic chair is just

A few things about the giant subwoofer idea : how much electricity it takes to produce that amount of bass. Also how much space that would take and then you have to find a way to isolate those vibrations from the actual car .... just for a “fake” noise. The second problem is municipalities clamping down on enforcing

That just sounds like a horn with extra steps.

I just don’t think a noise coming out of a speaker will elicit the same response as an actual mechanical machine exploding gasoline and moving pistons.  I think having a speaker simulating exhaust would cheapen the whole experience.

This is not a new thing tho people have been using suvs for primary passenger roles since the late 90s.  what an suv “is” is what is changing.

Unibody SUVs are a thing. You have the Bmw x5 and the VW Toureg, Jeep Grand Cherokee. I think SUV-ness depends on what the “bones” of the Vehicle is made out of. For example  VW has their “MQB” platform wich is used to make the polo, golf, jetta, passat and tiguan I think the tiguan would not qualify as an suv as it

GM did not want to kill any of their brands. The US government forced them to keep only 4 brands and get rid of the rest as part of the bankruptcy bailout negotiations. GM likely would have never killed off Hummer and pontiac if it was not for the government forcing them to.

We just need to define what an SUV means in 2022. With the overwhelming majority of suvs being unibody now and not body on frame what even “is” an SUV. Do you measure it by ground clearance? towing capability? The Ioniq 5 has less ground clearance and the same towing capacity than the original first gen Subaru outback

Eclipse gsx.

Tariffs and protectionism will only get you so far. China could easily go heavy handed with the retaliatory tariffs. and then you have more of loss to the economy than letting the market sort itself out. Overall more competition is overall good for the consumer and economy. Consumers can save money on their car and

overpasses.

Can we all take a moment to cringe at this headline?

It’s worth a shot and too little too late. Hopefully the federal government will mandate minimum vehicle security specifications. I bought a 2017 hyundai elantra and just took for granted that my “modern” car had at least the same level security has a 1998 Chevrolet Lumina but damn.....

Eddie Bauer stuff is actually fantastic for a “luxury” brand. My interior framed Hiking backpack is still in great condition 20 years later. Would recommend anyone get a backpack from them.

these were in such small numbers dealerships bought these for themselves and then eventually sold them 11 years later.

2008 chrysler 300 “dub edition.” Special badge chrome mirrors honeycomb grille. special floor mats. a kicker sound system and 20 inch wheels. Just seemed stupid to offer a factory “donk” and not at least put 21 or 22 inch wheels. ( did they even make 21 inch wheels in 2008?) I guess if they know their customers are

with the CRV the math of “how many miles to break even on the hybrid upgrade” is skewed significantly by the fact that the hybrid has significantly more power. Also there’s no CVT on the hybrid. technically there’s not even a transmission at all. its a much more enjoyable driving experience overall.
