Hybrids are awesome!  also you don’t HAVE to find a plug you can drive them like normal hybrids for it’s entire life and just get the benifits of a larger battery and improved mpg. And hey if you see a plug you can use bonus.  also if you are parking overnight you can use a normal wall outlet.

this exactly.  Those compact 4 cylinders were already geared very agressive I would imagine that in these crossovers you are at higher RPMs to maintain the same amount of speed.

how to get the right answer on the internet is to the declare the wrong answer. It won’t take long before the people show up out of the woodwork to correct you.

4 doors and no back seats is asinine.

i6 engines are basically perfectly balanced. also half the camshafts half of the cylinder heads half of the valve covers less opportunities for leaks.

The ilx was not selling. It was based on the WORST civic si generation. It was probably easier to relaunch an old retro brand than try and get the attention of everyone that forgot the ilx ever existed with an “all new ilx”.

Im sad that ALL of tje press cars of the prototype are yellow and yellow color never made it to launch. Always wanted a yellow car and thought this was my chance. I think yellow was the thing i was most excited about this car.  Im still interested but not as interested.

same I don’t think ive  ever seen an atreon ive seen a half dozen id4.

it’s not about “I have to throw my car in the garbage because my plastic coil springs are worn (or broken?) it’s death by 1,000 cuts. when the car gets to 80k miles and you are taking it to the dealership once quarter and dropping several hundred dollars in the shop doing “maintenance” you will decide it’s not “worth

the elantra is getting so large and genuinely great it’s making the sonota redundant.  you get a tiny amount of rear legroom and barely more trunk space??

I love sports cars and a classic sport sedan or cars like my current simple hatchback. but damn are the roads getting shittier by the day and every week almost it seems to flood that I find myself taking the “dry-er” route to avoid possibly damaging my vehicle. I’m really starting to envy all the crowds of SUVs and

metal coil springs are not heavy .... also they just about never need to be replaced. This just seems like a way to cost cut for the manufacturer and pocket the difference while also introduce “planned obsolescence” because there is no way these plastic slinkys are lasting over 60k miles.

I unioronicaslly want a pt cruiser lol

i think the 5.0 of today is a whole weight class above the previous 5.0. i would argue that the ecoboost mustang fills the niche that the 5,0 lx did back in it’s day.

also the newest gen  fit is a hybrid! hybrid breadbox with magic srats yes please! wish we got it in the states.

even running the generator while at the job site it still saves a lot emissions because the generator is generating DC electricity to charge the battery instead of just running an engine and wasting most of the energy like a traditional truck. and it can just cut off the generator once the battery reaches a certain

no way working 4 dealerships against each other took THREE hours.

or i can spend that much free time at work and earn $4,000 more dollars and not have to haggle or bother anybody. that sounds exhausting. Saving $4,000 is no small amount but with that many days/hours invested your really just trading your time and time=money.

and gasoline, and insurance, and oil changes. and a set of tires. Paying 30 percent more money because of the logo is just silly. especially with a warranty that long. I’m a Toyota superfan but i’m nowhere near the income bracket to pay that much extra money just to have a toyota version especially with the curent

why do you think the cars being totaled or economically not worth repairing are “edge” cases?  Seems to be VERY common reason to replace a vehicle. Maybe not the Majority of car shoppers but has to be more than an “edge” case of a sum.
