I genuinely don’t. I chose that example ‘cause the dude owns some jalop-worthy cars so they were more interesting to list. There are are least a dozen street/driveway parked Range/Land Rovers, Bummers, Lexuses, etc. in three square suburb blocks in my neighborhood. Welcome to Frisco, TX.

To be fair, my neighbor street parks his 2019 i8 and M4 as he already has three other, nicer/more valuable cars occupying the garage. It happens.

Living a stone’s throw from the US Toyota HQ I see more than one of these in and around town daily. And I’m happier for it. Beautiful GT car.

Minor point of clarification: he does not have a Valkyrie on order. He has a “close friend” who has one on order, for which said friend chose him to choose the build options/colors/etc.

One of the greatest soundtracks of all time. I was too young to be allowed to listen to it when new, which made sneaking it behind my parents’ back all the more sweet. I know what I’m listening to this weekend. Thanks!

That was my exact thought. “The wheels are neat, but are we really glossing over the fact that this G body looks to have an interesting running grear along with ceramic brakes?” That left, rear brake setup alone is worth more than the cleanest of (non-GN/GNX) G bodies.

I’ll be interested to hear more about any creative cooling solutions they’ve developed for this car, particularly with regards to the intake of air. My 675 “only” makes 666hp and it has more holes than swiss cheese to intake cooling air (two in the front, two on either side, and one on each B pillar). The 720s, though

Not entirely true. Some of those new models came along with their own versions of the ubiquitous carbon tub chassis. The P11 chassis is substantively different compared to the P13, and the P14 is more different still.

I’m quite fond of the front on the P1 and 650S/675LT, but what do I know.

This made my day.

I live in the North Dallas Metroplex and the story is the same here. I see, literally on a weekly basis, a P1 orLaFerrari, etc. My neighbor has a 675LT and a guy a block away has a GT2RS. I believe our latest Cars and Coffee had no less than two Sennas and a Huayra. There’s a Chiron that’s out all of the time as well.

I’m obviously biased, given my profile pic, but I agree with you on this one. Though I’d stick to one high trim Gen V GTC, ‘16 or ‘17. You can find them under $130k if you look and with TA1.0/2.0 or ACR aero they get much more attention than one might think. They seem to get more attention from non-car people than car

High, I’d estimate. They may have electronic gremlins (yay Enland!), but people beat the snot out of their 720s’s, etc. and they’ve proven pretty damn robust.

Spot on with the F1 wings (and their control-arm mounting points for that matter). The mustache spoiler on the 458 is not flexible in this way, however. It’s mounting point is hinged/sprung which is what allows droop at speed.

I love it! In my opinion, McLaren is knocking it out of the park with their designes, focusing on function over form. I also enjoy the floating wheel fan, reminiscent of the MP4-24 F1 car. Even better, they’re silver! I just wish the rear wheels were a bit lighter to match. I think we’ve reached peak-Black-wheels and

I’ve been very happy with the combination of full PPF and ceramic coating that I’ve had applied to my car. It’s black and 13 months (1,150 miles) into ownership and the paint still looks better than new.

Mmmmmm... cloth seats. In my ‘13 Viper GTS I had the top of the heap full Napa Leather seats because I wanted “the best” (read: most expensive). I always found them relatively slippy despite the highly bolstered seat design, and I always exited the car with a sweaty back and bum. When I bought my ‘17 GTC/TA I

The C7 is already smaller than the 570S (it’s shorter and narrower, though slightly taller). Something about the 570S’s dimensions make it appear smaller (relatively large greenhouse maybe?), but it’s smidge larger than the 650S despite it’s “little brother” placement in the Macca lineup.

What Gen? My GenV is a pussycat in the default tcs/ecs setting (of which there are four with ever decreasing intervention and a 5th for rain).

Interesting that you’ve spotted a 488 while it’s a 458 in the gifs above. Hopefully, this is intentional on their part (yet another replacement car) and not an all-too-common case of pretending differing years of the same basic model are, in fact, the exact same car. :/
