And Daniel Penny just got arrested for killing Jordan Neely. Looks like it’s a bad day to be racist.

Well they need to knock it off

Absolutely incredible that it takes my local government half a year to fix a pothole, but these guys could hold a vote on new ballot requirements in August and then have them in place just a few weeks later. I guess Republicans really can govern when they want to 😂

As long as y’all keep using and embedding that damn site, nothing will change

Eric Adams wants vigilantism in his city and NYC will get it. It won’t takelong for New Yorkers to hate what they get

CNN was taken over by Chris Licht after they were purchased by WarnerMedia, Licht has been trying to push the network to the right to grab Fox viewers, giving the boot to personalities it considered “too liberal” like Brian Stelter was part of that. Lemon did himself no favors with his own personality, but the writing

I’m sure there’s a handful of his family members that would vote for him, but no way will he even win his own state. No one there cares about him.

94% of homeless people will move into housing if offered, this idea that people “don’t want” housing is stupid.

While I don’t think overdoses are a good thing, people choosing to use UBI to buy drugs shouldn’t really be a reason not to have UBI.

He’s 100% responsible for Neely’s death. If NYC does not charge him, they are going to unleash a wave of vigilante violence.

We have a lot of issues that we have to confront if we want to tackle the homeless crisis. One is that, although some statistics show that up to 50% of homeless people are employed, a lot of homeless people are unemployed, and not employable. Even if clean and sober, they likely will never hold down a job again, and

Fuck serving that family. I wouldn’t have done it. The fact the managers pulled him aside to talk to him about it in advance makes it clear *they* knew shit was going to go down, and decided to do nothing about it.

“When conservatives become convinced they cannot win elections, they will not abandon conservatism, they will reject democracy.”

The problem here is neither Hochul nor Adams are clearly bothered by this. They’re not going to condemn something that doesn’t bother them.

There is nothing that required that level of threat. The marine was the most dangerous person on that train, he killed someone, and now the governor and mayor are making excuses for him. It’s sick.

Well one way of dealing with this would definitely include not letting people on 28-year sentences out after 17 years. I would definitely have a lot of questions for the people who decided to let him out.

That’s the problem here. The mentally ill guy didn’t swing first. He didn’t swing at all. The killer here was sure that that was going to happen, but it hadn’t.

I’d have socked the choker in the head. You don’t hold someone down like that because you could kill them. He murdered that man.

Republicans now have a veto-proof supermajority after State Rep. Tricia Cotham—an EMILY’s List-endorsed lawmaker from a heavily blue district in the Charlotte area—switched parties earlier this year. Exactly one year ago this week following the Supreme Court leak, Cotham tweeted that she would fight to codify Roe v.

Are they thinking that the NFL will make it easier to hurt QBs if they become prominently Black? Or something like that? Not sure what kind of rule changes they’d be thinking about.
