Yeah cops will straight up TELL YOU to put your hazards on, reduce speed, and drive somewhere safe to get out, and those very same cops will, at some other point, completely flip out on someone for doing just that. It’s a problem with their power and the fact that they’re rarely held accountable.

I think she should be held accountable, but the best way to do that is holding her accountable for the action, instead of what she is. The actions are absolutely racist as fuck. But she’s up there crying about how she’s not a racist, and since people can’t see inside her heart or her head, it gives her an out. More…

Her whole response was “I’m not a racist,” because she knows as well as anyone else that no one can tell what’s in someone’s heart or their head. But by focusing too much on the person and not the action, it gives her a defense. It makes it about her and not what she did.

Socially, we’ve made “being a racist” worse than doing racist things. So people turn around and do a bunch of racist shit, then follow it up with “I’m not a racist.”
