When we did nothing after Sandy Hook, the gun control debate was done. It was over, the gun nuts won, and regular mass shootings are just the world we have to live in.

Honestly that’s probably going to be worth a couple of points for him in the polls. 

I mean, “white people” aren’t going anywhere. They may not be a majority of the population soon, but it’s not like the people are disappearing.

When you go full-authoritarian, you don’t just selectively go after learning, you crush the entire system at once. 

There is no contradiction for them. They’re just getting more comfortable saying the quiet part out loud.

I think there’s no outrage because a large percentage of white Americans are trying to figure out how to be okay with it.

Yeah his fixation is gross. I think everybody knows there’s something in his closet at this point 

I fully expect Walker to fumble this campaign. Yes, the Georgia GOP and their state legislature will do everything they can to support him, but I think the constant stories about his mental health issues and domestic violence will be enough to do him in in the general.

I don’t think he’s broke so much as he’s trying to negotiate down the price so he saves money. Complaining about the bot problem (which he should have known about in advance if he had done ANY research) would have made it clear that Twitter’s bot population is WAY more than 5%.

Doesn’t seem like this would hold up under the first amendment. 

I honestly think the founding fathers would be horrified to see the state of guns in America today. There’s no way they would have wanted a bunch of paranoid nutjobs arming themselves to the teeth and begging people to scare them. 

I read a comment on YouTube this morning that was basically, “If everyone at that supermarket was armed, then this wouldn’t have happened!”

Yeah I’m sure the naked/lingerie humping stuff didn’t play well with the base.

Yup. The coke and orgies thing made Republicans look bad, and they couldn’t have that. 

I wouldn’t put money on losing Georgia and Arizona. Herschel Walker has plenty of time to make people understand how terrible he would be, and Mark Warner has plenty of time to make his case, he’s not disliked, people are just annoyed with Democrats. I think Warnock and Warner could hold onto their seats come election…

Whatever version of Christianity these guys may believe in, it clearly doesn’t include consequences for ginning up a race war. I would imagine that Carlson has put in as much time reading the Bible as Trump.
