I'm sure you are. Congratulations.

Not all men are unable to find it funny!

If you were born in "the Forrest" over 1.4 million years ago I think the medical community would like to study you for more than your footwear habits.

Maybe plug the charger into a timer that will turn it off at 2 and back on at 5 to get you back up to full?

That explains the rage I suppose.

That could get dangerous.

Making America great from Ottawa. Well played.

1. I'd personally go with a single card upgrade, but there is a pretty large price difference between adding another 7850 and something like an R9 290x. If those are the specific options, 2x 7850 will not match an R9 290x.

"while you pussies read your goddamn blog posts"

Looks like irrefutable evidence to me.

Not to mention cases with terrible airflow and cable management, low wattage PSUs, and zero overclock potential. And they flat out make ridiculous component choices to save money and make the system look more appealing to the uninformed (e.g. 16GB ram and a piss-poor GPU is a "gaming" system).

I've always found spending cash to be easier. I tend to do my budgeting based on my bank account activity, and if I use cash it doesn't show up there so I feel like it's free money.

I think AMD would probably be best here, certainly in terms of value. The 8350 should definitely beat the similarly priced i5, and will probably be fairly comparable to the more expensive i7. Turns out the "moar cores!!!" strategy is quite effective when you are actually using said cores.

PCIe 3 is backwards compatible (as in a PCIe 3 card will work in a PCIe 2 slot) and the increased bandwidth isn't really necessary in the first place. Go ahead and upgrade if you "need" to.

Nothing got blown up, so I don't think this qualifies as a Mythbusters ripoff.

Saving your money to start a money laundering business?

I can't help but think all these people pushing unpopular ideas that later exploded into awesomeness are great examples of survivorship bias.

Yeah, I always considered that study to be a load of crap because anyone who drinks enough of either to have a strong opinion will know which one is which even in a blind taste test. I guarantee you I could tell the difference between Pepsi and Coke, I'm even fairly certain I could pick up the difference between

Most places I've gotten automatic gratuity it says it will be there on the menu (often with a party size attached). I still don't tip extra though, because I find it to be an annoying practice.

Sorry to see you go, Adam. Best of luck with all your future plans!
