Why do you pre-rinse a dish? Because plenty of foods get STUCK to the damn dish over time, if they’re left to dry out. Some of them get stuck to the tune of “cement fucking stuck.” Especially things like dried nacho cheese, dried mashed potatoes, dried white gravy, dried oatmeal, dried eggs.

So... instead of being sensible and giving the lady a chair that has a waterproof covering on the seat (could simply buy the covering) and some sanitary wipes for her to clean it when this happens, and a trash back to put the wipes in afterwards, they fire her?

Yes, the Oscars are all hype—-they always were. Yes, Hollywood is too often shallow, or a poster for a greedy, back-stabbing, materialism-is-everything lifestyle, and saddled with a bunch of neanderthal kneejerk decisions based in racism, sexism, and social tropes.
