Except there is no debating that both Israel am Palestine want Jerusalem as their capital. Instead of placing two embassies in Jerusalem, one for East and West Jerusalem, which might have actually helped get the Two-State talks back up again, Trump has decided to escalate a conflict for no reason.

Because Palestine recognizes or at least wants East Jerusalem as its capital. By recognizing all of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, Trump has stifled any progress to a Two-State Solution all to appeal to Evangelical Christians that don’t care one iota about Palestine or Israel so long as they get their Rapture.…
