hopefully you’re right

I’m surprised it didn’t somehow be like one of those marvel posters where its a bunch of heads (maybe with torsos) of various sizes in proportion to their importance to the plot

we did see robot torture in Jabba’s palace in ROTJ so that Simpsons bit feels pretty applicable

lol. a life size replica of the acolyte chair will probably be the next Haslab project. $500 for your own plastic robot chair that you can rearrange into a regular chair.

lol people yelled at me in the comments last time i posed some questions. but they’re kind of right, we’ll never make sense of droids in star wars so best not to think about it too much and just go with whatever a given show/movie wants us to think of them

droids in Star Wars have never made much sense, no point trying to come up with a coherent theory about them now

hope they manage to shoehorn in some alien who’s name rhymes with or otherwise alludes to Blake Bortles

could’ve used him in Loki, just lift him from 1900 or whatever and drop him in 2024.

I’m surprised they haven’t moved forward quickly with a Shang-Chi sequel, felt like that was the one bright spot among the phase 4 movies, aside from GotG vol 3. To my surprise, i’d put the Marvels as the 3rd best movie post-Endgame. everything else has been disappointing imo  (again, just in terms of the movies, im

i think their humor would’ve been fine if you just frame the story as being narrated by someone who could be exaggerating bits (like Lando for instance). but i’m not sure Disney would want to go that route either

i’m sure there’ a lot of pressure to somehow bring the Jedi into the series though.  hopefully resistance isn’t futile

i don’t think they have much choice but mostly agree, its probably why despite ESB being a better movie in many respects, i just prefer ANH - in which the use of force was minimal and you can even pretend its not real if you ignore Vader’s force choking and Obi-Wan dematerializing.

Enjoyed the 1st two eps and nothing upset my dinosaur OT sensibilities so defintely gets a thumbs up from me thus far.

used to read that in the boston phoenix back in the day, iirc (memory a bit fuzzy - could’ve been the Onion.. or maybe both)

it feels like a roundabout way of plugging Disney plus.  Guess all the io9 articles defending the Star Wars Hotel (excuse me, immersive experience) weren’t subtle enough

I did like John Dies At the End, though

thanks i plan on giving the 1st a shot.

lol

I’ve never seen a Bad Boys yet.
