Some watermelons aren’t that sweet. Maybe you’ve not had the kind that would be more appealing to you. (I don’t want to assume which you’d prefer, sweeter or less sweet.)

Yeah, I don’t know much about the sport, but Clark’s last run looked great while Gold’s seemed fairly pedestrian by comparison. (But still awesome by any other standard.)

I did that on Friday! Finally turning in my 2015 taxes. I forgot to sign them and by the time they returned them to me I realized I had made two other (large) errors. I finally got around to fixing them. #iamsofuckediassume

The 6-0 and 4-0 defeats of Honduras and Panama seemed rad. But they in fact gave Arena just enough rope to hang us all.

Keeper had phenomenal position on that and nearly shut it down, but there was just nothing he could do against a great field goal kicker like Wondo.

It’s reins.

I will say this about Golden State: everyone who said in the offseason that they already had the 2018 title wrapped up is wrong. Playoffs are gonna be a dogfight.

Yeah. To me the ‘what a gamble!’ talk from chris collinsworth et al rang so hollow I got this eerie feeling the whole thing was staged. like they made a big deal of talking that play up, calling the timeout, talking it up some more, and all the talk really sounded so fake to me. then they run this big fancy trick

But I think your point stands (along with the rest of these comments.) Passing on that 3rd down would’ve been ‘overthinking it’ and failing would’ve given NE an extra 40 seconds to play

I was thinking a similar thing but it was about the Eagles running on third down, up 5 and settling for the field goal, when a first down would have won the game outright.

I know I am an outlier here, but I think the catch rules are pretty clear and generally applied pretty consistently and the people who are confused by them are likely the same people who are confused by things like the rules of grammar.

Ertz catch: caught and secured well outside the end zone, became a runner when he

Wow. Just wow. And I was just assuming his documentation papers were in order. What a relief. This is so much less tragic now.

“in this case the league did everything in their power to keep a talented young player”

but the only lasting damage appeared to be minor embarrassment.

holy shit this is so funny. i will probably randomly convulse in laughter due to this for the rest of my life.

one of the prime causes was the illegal immigration of Americans to Texas and California
