But it’s the east. Even Jordan had to get by the Pat Ewing Knicks and the Heat every year. Lebron has not had to get by any historically medium tier teams in the east to compile his streak. Don’t get me wrong, it’s an impressive streak but we are really only counting titles in Lebron’s case, and these titles are a

Are you an idiot who doesn’t know how weak the east is?

Four years in a row was only that unlikely three years ago. Probability-wise, the previous three years have no influence on this coming year.

I starred all the Fuck _____ comments except this one.

very cute!! :)

Even though I’ve been a gadfly for everyone complaining about the feedback the piece got, and its removal, I agree that it was success while I’m also glad it’s being taken down.

EVERYONE. And every artist and gallery gets to decide how they want to respond.

Yeah but the artist agreed with the feedback he got. And if he didn’t, he could try to show this piece again. So it’s much less disturbing than you frame it.

Good for you. Nice opinion. You’re not the arbiter of this issue. Generally speaking, in this country, a Jewish/Indian person is in a different social stratosphere from a Sioux person, regardless of the history of your personal lineage. You need to recognize that before you make a neutral-sounding attempt to silence

You can still make whatever art you want. Just be prepared for the blowback if you piss people off, and whether those are the people you REALLY want to be pissing off.

There is a difference between saying ‘don’t co-opt’ and ‘stick to your own race’. If you’ve read the other comments, this artist had previously worked with people so that he was not co-opting their voice and experience.

Not for this particular instance, but in general, does a well connected, well educated white

Well, glad that’s settled. Now that I know they were just bitter because the artist was white, I can stop being concerned about this.

It was an important point, and your tone is no better.

“Had it, lost it” to me is the most Emrick phrase and should be here.

Their collision was by far the BEST part of it!

Was it Frank DeFord who proposed on national TV in the 80s to Mary Hart and was rejected shortly afterwards (also on national TV)? I believed he was inspired by Ahmad Rashad shortly before that. I did a few googles and couldn’t find anything about it. (But I found plenty about Ahmad Rashad and Phylicia Ayers Allen.)

Can you assess whether the slot at the top right above $10k has the highest odds of going into the $10k slot at the bottom? It would seem that if the odds of one side or another and the angle each chip deflects off each pin are evenly distributed, it would have to be the middle slot, right?

Al Roker too.
