Its not even left alone. There is a cop in the photo. They closed the immediate area, covered the deceased out of respect and secured the area until the scene was cleared (i.e. a detective/someone with authority to investigate came and evaluated that it was not a crime scene).
On my first trip to DC, someone committed suicide by train. We were halfway between DC and Maryland when they kicked everyone off the train. It took nearly an hour to get a bus to the station and we had to literally push our way onto it, 6-month old baby in my arms. Fortunately, a few parents pitched in to make sure…
A homeless man died while sitting on a New York City subway platform Wednesday morning
As mentioned somewhere else, I know from experience that suicides in front of trains/mass transit are way more common than people think.
I think I heard once that BA used to put a gin and tonic and a daily mail in front of passengers who died during flights to make it look like they were sleeping.
I went to the doctor a few years back thinking I injured my shoulder and he told me it was arthritis. I took ibuprofen for a few weeks and warm up and haven’t had a problem since. Am not suggesting that I, a 36 year old desk jockey am strong/better, than 24 year old all-pro Todd Gurley. BUT, it does make you wonder...

The poor guy was trying to donate blood, he just got it backwards.
About 10 years ago there was an old school family owned Ford dealership in Berea Ohio that finally shut it’s doors. If I’m remembering correctly I think on the day they closed sometime in 2008 or 2009 they still had a new, never titled, 64 1/2 Mustang on their showroom floor.
Over 96 months, the payments are only $15.35...
The best stuff still holds up. But it’s even more impressive to me is that music like this was playing on Top 40 radio, that just seems unthinkable now.
Has anyone else gone back and listened to classic Smashing Pumpkins recently? I used to be a big fan, and recently did a revisit. I can still dig on the hits and a couple of others (Geek USA., Thirty Three), but man, time has not been kind to a lot of their material.
