I’m a diehard Tolkien fan and have zero interest in this property at all. Firstly because it sounds like they’re winging a plot based on the appendices in the back of LOTR and not any of the stuff found in the Simarillion. Secondly, they’ve committed to keeping the Peter Jackson/Alan Lee visual style but I’m skeptical
