I hope his version remains true to the spirit of the original and make sure that 20% of the dialogue in the film is random military flunkies yelling “IT’S A GUNDAM!” moments before being blown up.
That’s not the direction I was expecting for the sequel to Eat, Pray, Love, but I’m willing to give it a watch.
On the plus side, all of those names sound fantastic when read aloud by Matt Berry.
90% of the film is going to her doing motor-mouthed, awkward quipping while Harrison Ford looks on bemusedly.
I’ve always enjoyed the fact that people who believe in ghosts think that they have all of these incredible, unearthly powers, but yet are magically required to remain in the same general vicinity of where they spent most of their time living as a human.
I know America has done a lot of reprehensible shit in the 250+ years of our existence, but kicking the monarchy to the curb was definitely one of our greatest accomplishments.
I read a fascinating, and horrifying, article recently about how the American right’s interest and support of the royal family reflects their increasingly anti-democratic values. Several leading right-wingers (including Bill Barr) have argued that the American Revolution was actually about protesting big government…
What has he done wrong? If you’re referring to the Apu Wars, he voluntarily gave up doing the character and called on the show to cast somebody else in the part.

Riffrax is also very up front that this money is used to pay their writing team, maintain their digital platforms, and get rights…
I’m about as a diehard of an MST3K fan as they come (look at my username!), but Joel squandered a lot of my goodwill and interest in his “pure” version of the show.
Nothing will top Conan’s boy band, Dudez A Plenti:
She also guest-starred on Community during the gas leak year and held her own very well:
Any extra Disney money would have gone into hiring more guys in ninja costumes.
I don’t mind the gritty stuff occasionally. My larger issue with the Netflix shows was that they seemed to go out of their way to have their superhero characters avoid using superpowers. I get that some of that was probably budgetary, but seeing Matt Murdoch/Jessica Jones/Luke Cage/Danny Rand beat up the same random…
