You're right about the high expectations. I dunno, I was on board with it up to a point, even with stupid lines like "truth has no temperature". With anyone else but Cameron Diaz in it, I'd probably be a bit more charitable I guess.

Not really from what I remember, but he had a bit more to do in the original script. Thought the scene with facebender and Rosie Perez was good, and Brad Pitt was actually quite entertaining in this. But it's a hard film to defend.

This actually reads a lot better as a screenplay but yeah, it was really bad. They left out some of the script, one scene in particular with the motorcycle guy which was hilarious.

I can't stand her personally, and she was by far the worst thing about this film which is no mean feat. So that's something I guess.
