@TheFuzz53: Firefox? Donations maybe, and I think they get money when people use the Google search on the Firefox Start page.

15 years later, nobody uses Windows 95.

*goes into Private Browsing Mode*

Fucking stupid. You bought the damn console, why can't you play online?

Wait what? Double take. Apple can't get away with disabling jailbroken iPhones. The Library of Congress just made it so it's legal to jailbreak (and unlock) since they aren't really Apple's property anymore.

@nashix: As if it's a really big deal that you let a friend check Facebook on your computer. Especially if you're using a private browsing mode or a guest account. Or Heaven forbid, you have the courtesy to sign them out.

Or....you can go to check.torproject.org on Chrome and if it says Yes, you're on Tor. Much easier.

@Zuzax: Best Buy will take old computers and hardware. They won't accept hard drives for whatever reason (even though I made sure to wipe them completely using Darik Boot and Nuke).

I'm assuming this means when you lost your iPhone, because unlocking/jailbreaking is perfectly legal now.

@Dhaman: +99999999999999999999 for mentioning both Sigur Ros and Arcade Fire.

Makes no sense that you can't use Microsoft Points to buy stuff on your phone. Nintendo pulled the same bullshit with Nintendo Points. When you buy a card, you turn them into either DS-only Points or Wii-only Points. You can't split them between the two systems, and they don't share point amounts. Really, really

BoingBoing mentioned it sounds like an Icelandic band called Sigur Ros. It does a little bit, but I'll stick to my high-pitched (and talented) foreign band that I can't understand, thank you.

"When searching on Google use [www.google.com] instead of the common [www.google.com,] which will send your search request through an encrypted SSL connection. CyberDefender has found that doing so reduces the risk of being infected from search results."

Is this something Canon couldn't have built into a firmware update?

Steve Jobs won't stop telephoning her.

Yeah....lets dump everything into the Ocean....Good job DARPA!

@Martian Yeti: This makes my head hurt. I want to slap everyone involved in the production of those clips.

Whether turning down the brightness on your monitor actually saves money, it takes make it easier on the eyes.

@MattSTKC: I understand now. The whole "Oh, we would NEVER support tiered Internet. We support the open Web!" one day and the "Hey Verizon, wanted to make a tiered Internet, but all in the name of benefiting the consumer?" the next is bullshit.
