@theamazingpete: You need to jailbreak your iPhone/iPod touch to SSH into it. And then you install OpenSSH from Cydia. To connect, you use the IP address of your iPod/iPhone (found in the Wifi settings), and then for the user/pass, it's root and alpine, IIRC.
