@Simonovski: I always thought they looked surprised, not PO'd.

Wow, regarding the NYT security procedure, that's a bit much. Seriously? They're comments on a blog. No wonder I rarely see comments on NYT.

Does this only display the default password? I imagine this could be used for evil.

@Condalmo: OK, last reply. It works on Firefox. I went to Buzzfeed and CNN.com and with ADB+ enabled and the filters set, I couldn't find the "Like" or "Recommend" (on CNN) buttons.

@Condalmo: Well the Scan for Privacy still says secure on everything, and I went to Pandora and I wasn't "instantly personalized". I did opt-out of that "feature" already. That might have something to do with it. (Maybe. It still had that blue bar even when I opted out. So I'm 99% this works with Chrome.)

@Condalmo: I don't know for sure, but I did add the filters to AdThwart. When I use the Scan for Privacy bookmarklet, it says everything is secure. Either way I'm good. But I'm going to clear the cookies and everything and see what happens. I'll get back to ya.

An extra $500 for the ability of a copier to erase images from its hard drive? What the hell? That's a rip-off!!

I was given a copy of Office 2003 Student and Teacher and it works perfectly for the basic word processing that I do. And since I use Dropbox as the My Documents folder, I don't really use Google Docs anymore.

This is perfect for people who just use their netbooks to check email (more likely their FB notifications) and to play FarmVille.

Is ClaimID not working for anybody else? There isn't a register link (claimid.com/register redirects to the homepage) and using Blogger as my OpenID doesn't do anything. (It does go to Blogger.com to ask me if I want to say that I own blahblahwhatever.blogspot.com.)

@Veit: Anddddd....she forgot Super Mario Sunshine.

I want to try bring my Linksys router next time I have to stay at a hotel with my family because the router probably gets better reception then a netbook, and with Tomato, I'm pretty sure I could use it as a Wi-Fi extender.-+

@Shevonne A Polastre: I've been using Dropbox as the My Documents folder for a while now. It works great in Vista since the Picture and Music folders aren't sub-folders anymore, but in XP I need to also change the location of My Music and My Pictures.

@laureninspace: There was a period at the end of your link, that's why it didn't work.

I'm not sure this has much use. Why would I want to share my documents with my friends on FB? They could care less about my homework (unless they want answers.)

@canyouhearthem: Maybe so, but wouldn't it be a good place to start when you have a problem with your computer? You could Google around, or you could check the Fixit Center first.
