Yup. 

YES. It wasn’t even that sweet, maybe even slightly tangy! I also think fruit pies are usually too sweet. 

Before I had ever seen one (there weren’t any where I live up until a few years ago) they were described to me as a store where sometimes you might pick something out and it would fall apart on the way to the registers.

A friend of mine has a vacation home in Saugatuck and the photos she posts from there are really really beautiful. That means absolutely nothing, I know :-)

I’ve been to Sleeping Bear Dunes! I live far away from Michigan now, but I grew up in the mitten (although I never really knew where on my hand to point to my hometown, to be honest.) There is a tremendous amount of natural beauty in my home state.  

Best cherry pie I’ve ever had was from The Cherry Hut in Beulah, Michigan. I will never again visit Beulah, Michigan, which is sad. Because that is some freaking amazing cherry pie and I would love to have just one more slice. Normally I don’t even care about pie, but DAMN it is so good. Even Agent Cooper would think…

Also, I assume that she didn’t have to pay to live in the brownstone. No or low housing costs make your fictional dollar go much farther! 

You google Joan Watson outfits and voila, there are several places that list clothes and where they (could, usually they are past season) be purchased. 

So funny - I was just watching an episode of Elementary last night where Lucy Liu as Joan wore the matching Stella McCartney pants (hideous, but she can pull almost anything off) to the shirt/jacket that Messing is wearing above. I only know it’s Stella McCartney because I like to look up the clothes as I’m watching.

I have always wanted a lap pool of my own (and am never going to get one, because hello) so I can’t watch shows like this without wanting to gnaw off a limb with jealousy. Also, they make me want to eat the 1%.

I didn’t even know he had another son. I did know he had one son who died. 

I know (they’re long dead now) one personally who did just that. It was horrifying.
