Yeah, dick move to spoil the movie in the first sentence. Shit movie or not.

Truly. I don’t think I’ve really cared for anything he’s done. Then, I checked out the Halloween movie and for about 20 minutes I was on board. I thought, “wow... this guy seems to get it, this feels pretty right”. Then the jokes started. The hanging on characters literally not doing anything got worse. His ability to

I’m not one that yells SPOILER at everything, but you probably should’ve labeled this post that way. It’s bad and all, but it’s still brand new and only in theaters. Just posting the ending seems a little too soon.

Friedkin releasing his final film from beyond the grave to rave reviews on the exact same day as Believer may be the most baller move ever.

It’s hard to overstate how big the Tylenol poisonings were.  Tamper evident seals are so ubiquitous that you hardly even notice them now, but they didn’t exist before those murders.  They created an entire industry that everybody just accepts as part of everyday life now without a thought.

Remember: HR IS THERE FOR THE COMPANY, NOT FOR YOU.

They pretty much resolved everything, or they could do something like the (also not great, but very enjoyable) Fear Street trilogy.

Kids those days is right. I think about teen behavior in the 80s and 90s (Gen X’er here) that would have many of today’s kids appalled. A lot of it was the lack of supervision - no phones, social media, etc. - so you could really just completely disappear and leave no trace of your bad behavior.

This is very upsetting. Ashley Johnson is fantastic and deserves better than this.

It literally was made by humans using software, as is all digital art.

also enjoyed! *spoiler* I was a little sad they didn’t save the girlies who were murdered, whose biggest sin was being a little dumb. but maybe they are hoping for a sequel.

Also just watched it, and really liked it.

Marketing is a different department from production.

It’s interesting how much Blumhouse has seemed to double and now triple down on this idea of taking premises from extremely popular non-horror movies from the 80s and 90s and just going “That but now there’s a slasher there.”

They would totally have my money if they somehow did that. I would go to great lengths for Miss Minutes.

I got a big laugh out of the episode immediately nullifying the big cliffhanger from last time with “Nah, it’s just the past.” I assume the lukewarm reaction to all the multiverse stuff had something to do with that.

Really great episode. I liked season 1 a lot but this already feels like its off to a more confident start. Very stylish and the cast is really great together, even more Doctor Who-y than last season. Their first show to return for a season 2 and I think its because its one of the few that takes advantage of the TV

Does Loki have a Wes Anderson feel, or is Owen Wilson just stuck that way?

Man, I absolutely loved that. I was so excited to see what Benson and Morehead could bring to it and was not the least bit disappointed. Their movies have a lot of great dialogue and make excellent use of ideas over unnecessary spectacle. That was so evident here. It was just fun as hell to watch. I think a part of

During the credits sequence, the camera seemed to linger on a file about something called "The Zartan Contingent"? Now assuming they aren't about to work in a GI Joe crossover, anyone have any idea what that is?
